Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi originated as a martial art. It’s current popular form is Tai Chi Chuan, a gentle exercise that combines slow, flowing movements with deep breathing. Traditional Chinese medicine calls Tai Chi ‘moving meditation’ from combining mental focus with graceful movements. This style of exercise is done in a standing position which is good for people with knee issues, as a first step returning from back surgery, or people with heart problems in where more active exercise modes are not appropriate.
